Leadership |
|
The Adventures T.E.A.M. Staff serves right alongside
you as will our Mexican ministry partners. This
includes project supervision, meal preparation,
ministry guidance, and translation. We will not
send you out at the beginning of the day and wait
for your return. This gives you the confidence and
time needed to minister effectively not only to
Mexican nationals, but to your group as well.
|
|
|
|
We recommend a trip of at least nine days, eight
nights. This allows you time to serve, an
opportunity to get to know your fellow brothers in
Christ, and a chance to experience the Mexican
culture. While Adventures in Life does not pre set
dates and ask you to fit your group into them some
times of the year are better than others. You tell
us when you want to serve, and schedule permitting
we will accommodate you.

|
|
We believe that to truly be effective, cross
cultural ministry requires an understanding of the
lifestyles and culture of the local people. Because
of this, we place our servants in local homes so
they can experience the culture and customs of
Mexico first hand.

|
Requirements |
We leave
the decision to the individual group leaders and
pastors as to who is qualified to participate. To
serve in this area, we ask that each person be in
good health, mature in their faith, be willing to
serve others in the name of Christ, and be
flexible. If this will be your first time serving
with us in Guadalajara you will need to attend a
Pre Field Orientation facilitated by Adventures in
Life Ministry.
Young children may
attend only if at least one parent will be serving
with them.
